Repairing Important Files if Boot Fails
The following procedure describes how to boot from the Solaris OE
Software CD-ROM to edit a misconfigured /etc/vfstab file.
1. Insert the Solaris 9 OE Software 1 of 2 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM
drive.
2. Execute a single-user boot from the CD-ROM.
ok boot cdrom -s
Boot device: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/cdrom@2,0:f File and args -s
