Opera and the RealPlayer plugin

RealPlayer from RealNetworks is one of the most popular audio and video applications available for use on the net today.

You can download RealPlayer from this page: www.real.com/products/biz

Once you have downloaded the installation file, double-click it to start the installation wizard. If you have Netscape 4 installed on your PC, the RealPlayer plugin file, "nppl3260.dll", will be placed in Netscape's plugins folder.

If you do not have Netscape 4 installed, The RealPlayer installer should normally place the plugin file, "nppl3260.dll" automatically in Opera's plugins folder. The default plugins folder for Opera is:

C:Program Files\Opera\Program\Plugins

If "nppl3260.dll" cannot be found in this directory, you may wish to copy it there manually:Click on the Start menu and choose "Find", then choose "Files or Folders".Search for the file "nppl3260.dll".

Once you have located the file, copy it to Opera's plugins folder.

The last step is to restart Opera. Opera will locate the copied file and associate it with RealPlayer files.
