845G的集成显卡

请问各位
rh7.3装的时候跳过了x设置
我用的845G的集成显卡
进不了xwindow
不知XF86Config怎么改
不知大家有没有这方面的资料

Upgrade your XFree86 or use "vesa" driver. It's difficult to config linux to use 854g now.

Intel的英文官方网站上建议试试“VESA”driver，但是我试过了不行！845G的支持要到下一个RH版本了。

建议你用 redhat  8。0  ，然后再去 intel 官方网站  down  最新的 845  video driver 。

Two solution 1.Download the newest driver(RPM package) 2.Use vesa card to instead of the 845G,but the graphic mode just support 640 * 480.(edit the config file directly,but not to use the setting up tools) I have confirm both 1 & 2,it really did.

我用的是Linux9.01。 装了Intel(R) Extreme Graphics - Linux* [20030212-I386-LINUX.TAR.GZ]后，居然进不了Linux了。 痛苦ING。 我还很菜，不知道怎么弄啊。望高手指点。

1. Intel 845G VGA Card is supported in XFree86-4.3.0. Please upgrade XFree86 to 4.3.0. You can download it from www.xfree86.org. Note: you must add DRI support, or you can not play some games, such as chromium.  2. If you use RedHat 9.0, you have already had support.

我用的是845GL 装的是REDHAT 9。0 显示还是有问题！！！ 前些天很不容易将 Redhat Linux 9.0 装入电脑，烦的是，Xwindow 的分辨率却始终是 640X480 并且颜色只能是“上千位”，看起来很不舒服！ 想来我机子的配置也不差是Dell Optiplex 160L，具体为P4 2.4B、I845GL（集成显卡）、DDR 333 256M、40G硬盘。 请问各位有何解决办法？

我用的也是845的集成显卡，提示我输入用户名和密码的时候字好小哦，我根本就看不出来显示的是什么字。但可以进入系统，感觉我把显示模式调到了1024*768但是和640*480是一样的，根本就没有任何变化。我怎么调整都是一样的。 郁闷ING :em08:  有什么办法解决吗？大虾们

哈哈,我的也一样,845G. 在上千位色,最高分辨率只有640*480; 但是在256色的情况下,可以设置分辨率800*600或1024*768,我想这与板载显卡内存小,并与主内存共享有关系,linux显卡驱动程序不能很好的支持.
