THE METHOD OF AIX SYSTEM BOOT AND STOP
When the power of host is running,aclearcase/" target="_blank" >ccording follow method to boot four RS6000s , FAST600 and LTO3580 type device.
Ⅰ.Boot
1.Boot fiber switch .
2.Boot the power of the FAST600 and LTO3580.
3.Waiting for after the light of data of FAST600 don't climp,boot the power of RS6000s ,sequence is :
1)was01p > was01t;
2)udb01p > udb01t.
4.Boot the HACMP of udb01p and udb01t , enter [smitty clstart]
Start Cluster Services
Type or select values in entry fields.
Press Enter AFTER making all desired changes.
[Entry Fields]
* Start now, on system restart or both now +
Start Cluster Services on these nodes [udb01p] +
BROADCAST message at startup? false +
Startup Cluster Lock Services? false +
Startup Cluster Information Daemon? true +
Reacquire resources after forced down ? false +
Enter=Do
To verify the HACMP boot success:
1)clstat(/usr/sbin/cluster/clstat)
or
2)hacmp.out(tail -f /tmp/hacmp.out)
and
3)lspv (the status of datavg is active)
4)lsvg -l datavg (the status of lv is open/syncd)
5.boot the udb01p and udb01t on the DB2 Server.
A.Use the shell to boot(Note:the DB2 Server of udb01p has been boot through HACMP)
in root directory of udb01t(/) , enter #startshell_udb01t.sh
B.Use the follow command to boot DB2 on udb01p.
#su - gpcp
$db2start
$exit
#su -galp
$db2start
$exit
#su - gsip
$db2start
$exit
C.Use the follow command to boot DB2 on udb01t
#su - gpct
$db2start
$exit
#su -galt
$db2start
$exit
#su -gsit
$db2start
$exit
6.Boot Http server and WebSphere service on was01p and was01t.
A.Use shell to boot
1)in the root directory of was01p(/) enter the command of "startshell_was01p.sh".
2)in the root directory of was01t(/) enter the command of "startshell_was01t.sh"
B.Use command to boot
1)Enter the follow command on was01p:
#/usr/IBMHttpServer/bin/apachectl start
#/usr/WebSphere/DeploymentManager/bin/startManager.sh
#/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/bin/startNode.sh
#/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/bin/startServer.sh GALX

Ⅱ.Shutdown
1.Stop the WebSphere service on was01p and was01t.
A.Use the shell to stop
1)In the root directory of was01p(/) ,enter the command of stopshell_was01p.sh
2)When the status of running of was01t doesn't know,the stop action need to acheived in the console of WebSphere.

Should stop GAL1J4,GAL1J5,GAL1TR,GPC1J4,GPC1J5,GPC1TR,GSI1J4,GSI1J5 and GSI1TR.
In the root directory(/) of was01t,enter the command of stopshell_was01t.

1)Use follow command on udb01p:
#su - gpcp
$db2 force application all
$db2stop
$exit
#su - galp
$db2 force application all
$db2stop

$db2 force application all

2)Use follow command on udb01t:
#su - gpct
$db2 force application all
$db2stop

3.Shutdown the RS6000s.
Use the command of shutdown -F on was01p,was01t,udb01p,udb01t.
4.Power off FAST600 and tape device.
5.Power off fiber switch.
