If you want to change all your network settings on SunOS 5.6 (and maybe later versions too), then here is the list of files to look at:
- /etc/hosts
- /etc/hostname.le0 (or hme0 or whatever you have)
- /etc/nodename
- /etc/net/ticlts/hosts
- /etc/net/ticots/hosts
- /etc/net/ticotsord/hosts
- /etc/inet/hosts
- /etc/inet/netmasks
- /etc/resolv.conf
- /etc/defaultrouter
- /etc/netmasks
- /etc/nsswitch.conf
The "sys-unconfig" command could be run instead, of course, but the above is another way of doing it.
