pfmon -- performance monitoring tool for
Linux/ia64.
MILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 宋体; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: ZH-CN; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">pfmon is based on Itanium Monitoring Unit (PMU).
"pfmon" supports the following list of options on any host system:
| -h, --help
| display the list of supported options
| -V, --version
| display pfmon version information
| -l[regex]
| show list of supported events by host PMU
| -i
| get information about a particular event
| -u, -3, --user-level
| monitor at the user level for all events
| -k, -0, --kernel-level
| monitor at the kernel level for all events
| -eev1,ev2,...
| select events to monitor
| -I, --info
| show pfmon information and detected host CPU
| --outfile=filename
| save counts in a file
| --system-wide
| create a system wide monitoring session
| -show-time
| show real, user, system time for the executed command
|
| --symbol-file=filename
| use the ELF archive filename to look for symbols
|
| --sysmap-file=filename | use the System.map filename for kernel symbols
--session-timeout=xxx timeout of session
